Prior to the world's existence, there is a mysterious energy substance, called MANA. This created all matters of life, including the eight main elements that are flowing around them.There are two main continents:
- AURITEM, on the eastern side where Humans are mainly residing;
- ARGENTEM, on the western side where Demons are mainly residing.
And lastly AERATEM, the distant islands between the two main continents.However as years passed, the lands were slowly dying and withering as mana started to gradually disappear. This inevitably caused a war between the two continents, known as the MANA WAR. The result of immense destruction and deaths of many caused an everlasting rift between the two continents. Though the war had seemingly ended, the world was still dying, slowly but surely...

Legends once told that eight Elemental Spirits were guarding this world;- IFRIT, the Spirit of Fire;
- UNDINE, the Spirit of Water;
- SYLPH, the Spirit of Wind;
- GNOME, the Spirit of Earth;
- CELSIUS, the Spirit of Ice;
- VOLT, the Spirit of Lightning;
- REM, the Spirit of light;
- and UMBRA, the Spirit of Darkness.And a particular prophecy tied with them:
Each Elemental Spirit rested in their own SHRINES, located all around the world. The ones, who were worthy, could make a pact with them and lend their powers, thus becoming an ELEMENTAL INVOKER.With all eight Elemental Invokers, they would gather to the ends of the CRIMSON GATE where the SHRINE OF THE BEGINNING, the world's core, could be found. By releasing all the spirits, they would restore the lost mana, and that marked the beginning of the world's regeneration.Although still to this day, it is uncertain if this prophecy is true or not.
